located 285 km Southeast of Addis Ababa city, 21 km Southwest of the city of Hawassa, located in Oromia Regional State, Western Arsi Zone, Gedeb Hawassa Woreda.

Ardaita ATVT College Profile
Ardaita AVET College is one of the five colleges administered under the Ministry of Labor and Skills. In 1994 E.C, the college was reorganized and renamed to “Ardaita ATVET College” and was established in March 1976 E.C under the name “Yekatit 25 Cooperative Institute”. The institute was the only cooperative institution in the country that aimed to provide short- and medium-term training to the skilled workforce from 3 months to 9 months to facilitate cooperative activities in the country.
Mission
Provision of quality education, customized training, technology transfer and business advisory services for the cooperative sector to enhance human capacity, increase the efficiency and quality of cooperative services and to improve the business & leadership skills of community and organizations through experienced and qualified staff, implementing quality control & assurance system, practical oriented research, and utilization of modern technologies, standardized curriculum and teaching & training materials.

Ardaita ATVT College aspires to be one of the reputable Colleges excelled in cooperative education and training in East Africa by 2033 G.C

About Us

The former Yekatit 25 Cooperative Institute was restructured in 1994 E.C as Ardaita ATVET College, with long-term training in cooperative organization, management and marketing, additionally in cooperative accounting and auditing and animal science by receiving trainees from districts from all regions of the country until 2002 E.C at the diploma level by providing training in theory and practical training for a long time.
